What will we do in the workshop?

It is a face-to-face workshop aimed at the general public, especially for those who are curious about the world of biomaterials and sustainable materials of the future. In the workshops, no previous knowledge is required.


The aim of the workshop is to learn how to manufacture bioplastics from organic waste, as well as to show the multiple possibilities offered by this new material and the benefits it has in substitution of other synthetic materials, in order to design and implement new sustainable solutions, focused on the real needs of people and the planet.


The workshop will take place in a one and a half hour session, but can be extended to two hours depending on the questions. of the questions. These are small workshops, so that all participants will be able to see, participate and make their own participants will be able to watch, participate and ask questions comfortably during the whole process.


Finally, they will take home a diploma engraved in bioplastic as well as a sample of the bioplastic made during the workshop, and then let the material dry, so that they can experiment and put its characteristics to the limit, as well as innovate and find their own applications.


During the training, different materials made from different organic wastes and their possible applications will also be shown.
